Growth

The sustainability and growth of individuals, groups, enterprises, situations and proximities, including this site and project, is rarely straightforward. Paradoxically perhaps, this seems to be how things actually get accomplished. We're trying to relate to that. We've developed a growth model for people who share a proximity, which acknowledges and leverages the complexity of growth. With the advance of climate change, global warming, global weirding, or whatever you want to call it, ways to create sustainable proximities are needed. We hope the ProxThink Growth Model will provide some valuable ideas and processes. You can discover more throughout this Growth section.

Tip
Our Growth Model provides ways to collaborate and manage resources while encouraging growth. It contains aspects of ideas found in areas such as sustainability, open source development, competition and collaboration, without being any of those exactly. It's a synthesis, and partly results from thinking from a ProxPatterns perspective. It can encourage growth in a variety of ways and of various kinds (not only economic growth), for resources as well as people.

A Personal Note
I wondered what a model of growth using ProxPatterns would look like, so I gave it a try, and it became part of our experiment. I hope you will give it a try too. See Perspective for my point of view on how it fits into some larger contexts.
